In England a teacher in a language school earns about £10.00 - £15.00 per hour depending on experience


Work hours: It is 15 - 30 hours a week and class timings are between 9.15am and 6.30pm.

The teachers wage is around £290.00 per week and they must provide accommodation and three meals per day and three hours of English Language Tuition each day.

Since home stays are short term assignments so holidays are not considered necessary.

Education background: TEFL qualification is mandatory and a university degree would be good.
