Living in Italy

TESOL Certification Course in Florence, Italy

Italy is a very modern country and living standards are in the metropolises is not cheap. The Italians have refined taste in food and clothing. The famous fashion houses of Prada and Gucci are here. It is a shoppers’ delight.

Accommodation in big cities is expensive, so it is important to negotiate accommodation with the prospective employers prior to signing of contract.

The details of contract must be clarified at length before entering Italy. Since many ESL teachers have had woeful experiences in the land of sun shine and mirth.

Italy being along the Mediterranean abundance of fruits and vegetables are available and food is not too expensive. Eating out on the streets is a cheap and good option.

Living standards in the countryside is naturally less expensive and the not too experienced teachers can easily find employment there.
It is sensible to have a driver’s license as teachers are at time expected to drive over to teach English in places of business.
