TEFL Certification Course in Sydney, Australia

Australia is more of a continent than a country. It has a huge land mass, where a major portion of the inland is arid and desert like. It is the homeland of Aborigines who had invented the unique weapon – Boomerang and whose musical instrument Didgeridoo is gaining world wide acceptance.

The white settlers primarily from England populated the country in the 18th century and for centuries persecuted the original inhabitants – the Aborigines. But in the mid 20th century much of the Aboriginal home land was returned to them and in 2008 the Australian government formally apologized for their wrong doings.

Australia is not just home to these two communities; there we have international representation from the Chinese, Vietnamese to the Italian, the Spanish and the middle eastern..

Australia also has thousands of visitors converging here to enjoy the various sports and the unusual scenery of the country. One can in Sydney spend time on Bondi Beach, watch the surf crowd, lose oneself in the magical scenery, discover the night-life, cafes, bars, restaurants, and shops.

In Sydney, you will meet people from every corner of the globe basking in the sun, enjoying the beach life, visiting the beach bars and experiencing the feel-good factor of sun, sea and sand, Aussie style.

You can see kangaroos, koalas, and other Australian animals at Sydney Wildlife World of Sydney Zoo.

Can you imagine the amount of fun you’ll have as you join the onsite TEFL International’s 120 hours or 4 weeks teacher training course at Sydney?

About Australia
Australia is a land of topographical and cultural, contrasts. It is a continent that had two groups of settlers entering the country at two very different times and using the resources of the land very differently too.
The Aborigines were the first to settle about 40,000 years ago. They lived as hunters and gatherers for this entire time, living with a close link to nature, but backward methods of cultivation like back burning have caused significant deforestation, salination of the soil and elimination of much of the natural diversity of the landscape.
The second group arrived in the 18th century and has populated the land with greater success. They have made Australia famous for its ranches and sheep rearing. The countries minerals have made mining a profitable industry.
The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) is a small area within New South Wales, established for the purposes of governing, Canberra is the federal capital of Australia.
However, the ACT is substantially larger than Canberra itself. It contains the Namadgi national park. To the west of the territory lies the northern tip of Kosiousko National Park, which extends southward all the way to the NSW/Victoria border.
The Batemans Bay is just 2 hours drive.
