Argentina - Visa

TEFL Certification Course in Buenos Aires, Argentina

  • All foreigners who plan to work in Argentina need a work visa. You need one even for internship. It has to be issued by the National Directorate of Migration ( Dirección Nacional de Migraciones) in Argentina.

  • Even for short term work you need avisa permitting you right to work in the country.

  • The cost is $100 for US citizens and Euro 200 and must be done through Argentinean consulate in one’s home country. For details kindly contact TEFL International office at Buenos Aires.

Necessary documentation:

  • Work contract with a local company

  • Birth certificate translated by a licensed translator into Spanish

  • Marriage certificate similarly translated must be provided

  • Passport that has at least 18 months of validity

  • 3 photos in passport size

  • Provide in writing details of job and duration of stay.
